Language Characteristics of Arabic
The characteristics of the Arabic language is unique and distinct not only based on its phonology, but also in the morphology of the language. The phonology of Arabic directly corresponds to the relation of the letter and the sound. In contrast to the English language, some of the letters in English are not voiced out as they are spoken. In other words, some of the letters in the English language are not directly proportionate on how they should be read. This makes Arabic words be relatively easy to spell out as they as they can be spelled out based on how they are heard.
